Kaplan Day 5
Today was the first day in my medical career that I had a full day of classes on a Saturday and not just a make up classes due to a hurricane. Either way you see it, we definitely covered lots of ground completing all of the behavioral science portion of kaplan in around 3 days. The general census from students after everyday is exhaustion, but the drive to push forward finds its way out as we all part ways from the classroom and head back to our homes, apartments, and dorms. I can’t explain what keeps us going other then the simple fact we are so close to being back in the states and rotating through hospitals getting hands on experience.
Tomorrow/Sunday is our day off. My plan is to get up and go to church, work out and use the day for, you guessed it, studying! Monday we start Biochemistry, which is for many of us is a subject we don’t enjoy or feel like we are even close to mastering. Should be interesting to see if the professor is as good as our last. We hope this is the case so we all will pay just as good attention as we did to our last professor. Not much else to exciting other then the weather being 85 deg and beautiful as it pretty much always is. I will try to post tomorrow but no promises.

Keep on, man. Do the unusual so you can live the unusual.
Proud of ya!
